Vétériaires Sans Frontières International has been selected to present a poster on “Building a solid and lasting One Health through an agroecological perspective” at the 3rd International One Health Congress that will be held in Amsterdam, from 15 to 18 March 2015.
The poster will analyse why the One Health concept needs to be complemented by agroecology, a methodology which integrates the management of ecosystems and productive systems with economic, social, cultural and political aspects.
VSF believes that applied agroecology enhances not only animal and human but also environmental health in the broadest sense, and ultimately results in food security and food sovereignty for humans and animals, the foundations for a stable One Health.
