The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a dream come true: the dream of the big agribusiness corporations. For the rest of society is a nightmare. The TTIP is an extensive treaty on free trade and investment that is (secretly) negotiated between the European Union and United States. If we know anything about the existence of the agreement and its content is mainly thanks to leaks, especially from November 2013. Such is the secrecy that even not all the members of the European Parliament have access to the drafts of negotiations, not to mention civil society organizations. Those for whom TTIP is not (and never has been) a secret are corporations that, from 2012, are exchanging information with the negotiating teams on key issues of the treaty.
